Real Estate Studies and Managemment Academy- RESOURCE CENTER

The Resource Center is envisaged as a centralized single stop data-house of information and publications related to real estate in Ahmedabad region. Additionally, it will house nationally and internationally published material, such as books and CDs, and publication data for resources in other institutes. Thus, it aims to make available the following to all professionals:

Interpretation of above mentioned regulations, etc and its impact on society at large and real estate business in particular.
General data regarding real estate properties, land, supply and demand, collected by the academy through faculty / research associates / students.
Availability and price of land in various areas, of commercial and other uses.
Analysis and research in matters pertaining to real estate industry, such as parking requirement, floating FSI, etc.
Easily accessible, latest set of rules, regulations and government resolutions.

In addition, the resource center aims to:

Promote innovation planning practices, cost effective techniques, modern construction and management skills
Make available above mentioned information to all concerned institutions.
Disseminate information through publishing and publications.
Carry out consultancy services for better city environment.
Undertake an advocacy role for basic systems and practices related to real estate industry through workshops, conferences, press articles and routine information brochures, newsletters.

Digital & Spatial Data.

The resource center is currently collecting Spatial Data and organizing it into Spatial Databases to make it useful for intelligent analysis in the Real Estate Industry.
Digital maps of various city are being collected.
Resource Center is planning to build a Decision Support System (DSS) after linking Spatial Databases with Digital Maps of Uban Gujarat.
